Who is the Rec League for?

Metro Rec leagues are a great way for new and experienced athletes to develop their volleyball skills and gain game experience.  The league is open to both boys and girls ages 8-14.

How much does the Rec League cost?

The Rec League cost is $219-$269 per session. Price depends on location & length.

How does the Rec League work?

Athletes will work on skill development as well as focus on competing in game like situations each week.  Players will practice and compete against athletes of similar skill level. Players attend one night a week for both skill development as well as games.  The athletes are divided by skill level into teams.

Games are designed for players to receive quality touches.

Where is the Rec League located?

Rec leagues may vary throughout the year.  Rec Leagues are typically in the Frederick MD, Prince George's County, MD,  and Washington DC areas.  To see a full list of locations currently being offered, and registration information, click here.

Should I participate in clinics, camps, teams while playing in the Rec League?

Yes! The more an athlete plays the more they will improve.  It is not required but welcomed. Additional training opportunities information can be found on our home page or fall training tab.

Who are the coaches?

Sessions are lead by a trained Metro coach who has experience working with young athletes.  Metro coaching staff are among some of the top coaches on the East Coast and will provide effective instruction and design drills to maximize game like touches.

Volunteer coaches will work along side the Metro staff.
