David started his volleyball career when he began playing for the club volleyball team at Longwood University. As he learned and experienced volleyball at Longwood, he worked toward a master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in teaching. Taking what he had experienced from playing club and learned as an aspiring teacher, he started coaching volleyball at the school he currently works at. David first started as an assistant coach for the first season where he gained valuable experience from the staff members. At the start of his second year to the present, he has had the opportunity to work as the Junior Varsity Head Coach. David has been working with Metro for the past three years as both an assistant and head coach learning with the players as he finds ways to encourage and engage players so that they may meet their full protentional before moving onward to the next step in their lives.
