Coming Soon - 15 South PW Assistant Coach - 2023

Metro VBC Alexis Fields - 15 South PW Assistant Coach - 2023

"I am extremely excited and honored to be a part of the Metro coaching staff this year! It is truly an honor to work with such an amazing volleyball club and staff, especially having been a former player. I cannot wait to share my knowledge and passion for the game with all the girls, and help them develop their character and skills as athletes. The goal is to get 1% better every day. WORK HARD, WIN EASY! Let’s go METRO!"

Alix is starting her first season with Metro Volleyball Club, having previously coaching for Rippon Middle School, Forest Park High School, and the Boys and Girls club. A Woodbridge native, she started playing club volleyball at the age of 12, including playing several years with local clubs, including Metro American. She is a graduate of Forest Park, where she played four years, including three seasons as a starting Varsity outside hitter and two years as team Captain. Forest Park reached the 3A regional tournament in all of her varsity seasons, and Alix was named all-Cardinal District, all-Area, all-Region, and All-Washington Post “Extra” first teams.

Alix has associates degrees from American Military University in dietetics and nutrition, and in early childhood care and education, and is almost finished with her BS in Sports and Health Sciences. Alix owns her own apparel and design company, and is currently employed as an associate for marketing with Covenant of Greater Washington for which she is also their apparel vendor.

Alix is a proud Mom to 6 children, including two up and coming volleyball players, and in her “spare” time is a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Nebraska Cornhuskers.
