"Coaching is very rewarding, it is not only about helping athletes develop skills on the court but also assisting them shape who they are and who they will become as a person off the court."

This is Rachel's fifth season coaching for Metro but 1st as a head coach for 18's Prince William. Rachel is currently the varsity volleyball coach at Stafford High School in Fredericksburg, VA. She started playing volleyball in sixth grade and continued on to play at the collegiate level. Her team hosted Nationals all 4 years she played and won 3rd place at Nationals in the conference her senior year. Rachel was a good leader both on and off the court for the team and was a three year captain at State University of New York at Canton.  During her fifth year of college she served as the Assistant Coach. 

Rachel graduated with an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelors degree in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Human Services. She has a Masters degree in School Counseling from Liberty University as well as an Educational Specialist degree. Rachel is currently working towards her Doctorate in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. Rachel is working as a High school counselor at Stafford High School and thoroughly enjoys working with students whether it be academically, socially, or emotionally. In her free time, she loves working out, completing word searches, painting, and hanging out with her family and friends.
