Assist. Coach 2021

Megan McTigue-12 EAST ASSISTANT COACH- 2021

“I’m super excited for this season! It’ll be my first time on the coaching side of the bench as opposed to the playing side and I can’t wait to pass on some of the things I’ve learned from all of my great coaches throughout the years!”

Meg started her volleyball career in middle school, playing club for MVSA. She went on to play on the varsity team at the Academy of the Holy Cross for all four years of high school, where she helped her team to four conference championship and was awarded the title of WCAC Player of the Year and was chosen as the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Maryland her senior year. She continued her volleyball career in college, playing for the University of Maryland's varsity team for one year. She dropped down to play on the school's club team for the remaining three years of college so that she could focus more on her education, receiving a Bachelors from the Smith School of Business in Marketing. This will be her first year coaching at Metro, but she's super excited to join the family!
