“I am beyond excited to work with Eric this season to coach the debut 18s East Team! As a first-time coach, I cannot wait to share my love for volleyball with our players, as well as support them to achieve their goals on and off the court.”

As her first coaching experience, Katie will be working with Eric Lee to coach the first-ever 18s team in the East region.

Growing up, Katie played volleyball, softball, and rode horses from a young age. Volleyball became her favorite sport very quickly after being introduced to it at age ten. She primarily played as a defensive specialist/libero.

A Maryland native, Katie is a recent graduate from the University of Maryland, where she studied Public Health Science. She now works part-time as a Medical Assistant in College Park and a Performance Improvement Analyst at the Prince George’s Hospital Center while she applies to medical school.
