Alexis has been playing volleyball for about 12 years. She started her career playing for Metro and then went on to play varsity volleyball at Urbana High School. She also played for another club team throughout her high school career. After high school, Alexis went on to play for Frederick Community College for about 2 years. Alexis is an elementary school teacher in Montgomery county and still plays on adult volleyball leagues in her spare time.
