Jailyn Ivey is excited to be entering her first year of coaching with Metro! Officially completing her Undergraduate Degree in May of 2021 at Virginia State University, Jailyn studied Mass Communications and minored in Business Management. At VSU, Jailyn was an OH for the CIAA DII Volleyball program for three years. During her collegiate journey, Jailyn was named to the All-Rookie team, All-Conference team, All-Tournament, and The 2019 Offensive Player of the Year. She also was a member of the 2020-2021 VSU Chapter of the NAACP. Jailyn is currently an Assistant Coach within the Central Intercollegiate's Athletic Association at Bowie State University, a Division II public Historically Black Univerisity in Prince George's County, Maryland.
