This will be Billy’s first year with Metro. His freshman year of high school marked the start of his volleyball journey. Attending Damien High School in La Verne, California, he was part of the football and volleyball programs, excelling particularly in volleyball, being a 3-Year Varsity starter as well as the Team Captain his Senior Year. He led his team to a League Championship in 2021 and was named the Valle Vista League Most Valuable Player in addition to receiving Scholar Athlete and All Academic awards. In addition to high school athletics, Billy has played beach volleyball for 2.5 years and placed in numerous tournaments along the Southern California coast from Santa Barbara to Chula Vista. More recently, last season he competed in the exclusive SoCal Cup on the 18-1 team at Pulse Athletics Volleyball Club in Anaheim, California. Billy is a Freshman at American University where he has begun studying Business Administration and hopes to dual major in Accounting. He is an active member of the American University Men's Club Volleyball program as well as playing recreational beach and grass volleyball in the DMV.
