"It feels great to be back with the Metro East teams!"
This season will be my 6th season of coaching volleyball and my 4th as a head coach. I've played volleyball for thirteen years now, four of which I spent playing at Virginia Wesleyan University during my undergraduate studies. I then moved to Washington, D.C. to get my masters degree where I was introduced to Metro for the 2020-21 season. After focusing on my studies for my final year, I've now finished up my Master's of Arts: Global Security and am looking forward to getting back in the gym.
Volleyball has been an integral part of my life and I've developed an unreal love and passion for the game that I hope to share with each team I coach. My philosophy as a coach is wholistic - I want my players to be successful, skilled players and make strides in their game, but I also want to ensure growth through the game in other aspects of life and give back to the next generation of volleyball players so they might develop that same love and passion as I did. I look forward to meeting all of the Metro East teams this year and enjoying the season!
"I am very excited to be joining the Metro staff this year! I look forward to meeting all the players and sharing the love of the game with them."
This will be my first season has an assistant coach in this area. I have been playing volleyball since I was eleven years old and I still have the same love and passion for the game as I did back then. Once I graduated High School, I attended The College of Idaho on a full ride Volleyball scholarship where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performances in 2020. I then decided to join the Air Force which is how I have now ended up in the D.C area at my first base. Volleyball has been such a big part of my life for as long as I can remember and I look forward to getting back into the gym and sharing my experience and knowledge with my Metro team this year!

I started coaching right after I graduated from Washington College in 2017 where I had played all four years. After graduating I moved back home to Florida and began coaching at Palm Beach Central High School- serving first at the JV head coach and varsity assistant and the Head Coach for both JV and Varsity the following season. I also coached at Tribe Volleyball Club in Pompano where I coached a range of players from 12-18 as both and assistant coach and head coach. In 2019 I moved back up to Maryland and was the assistant at Washington College and coached 15's at another local club. Currently, I am in my first season as an assistant coach at UMBC.
